SUZUKI SATURDAYS / CONCERTS BULLETIN BOARD A reminder to check on your student portal page on Scotiasuzuki.org the RED buttons that have Suzuki Saturday group dates, classes and times in them. I have also posted them all on the bulletin board at the school. They are also appear on each students personal calendar in their student portal page. Concerts are on the calendar in RED and on many friday and saturday nights through out the year.
LETS READ BOOKS DONATIONS If you are not using your Lets Read and Fox Socks sight read books regularly anymore please consider donating them to the SSSM saturday group classes to use. This cuts down on extra photocopying for me and recycles your books by sharing them. You can put them in the theory IN box in the school hall.
RCM GOLD MEDALS Congratulations to the students of the SSSM who won Gold medals for their RCM exams. The highest mark in the Maritimes for each exam and over 85 is presented with a Gold medal. Congratulations to Ruby Sullivan, Samira George, Erica Blouin, Maxen Morrison and Indi Tisoy! If you see them around please say “Congratulations!!!” The ceremony is next month at Dalhousie.
TWO FREE TICKETS TO O – CELLI TRIVA CONTEST DRAW The trivia draw for the O Celli concert was this weekend at the first fiddle concert. The winner is GEORGE WEBSTER!!! Congratulations and for everyone else please Go on line to get your tickets before they are sold out….DONT MISS this amazing concert! There is a Scotia Bank sponsored FREE student and their chaperone ticket program that you can also apply for on line.
PLEASE UPDATE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ON STUDIO HELPER On occasion we might need to contact you in an emergency. Or to cancel in a snow storm etc….Please update your student portal pages with your current cell phone number for us to call. This can avoid disappointment at your end if you arrive and a class has had to be cancelled or moved in an emergency.
GREAT FIRST FIDDLE CONCERT OF THE YEAR! Some of the summer fiddle students presented a tune or two at the fiddle concert this weekend. There was a special surprise guest MS. CAITLIN who played the Orange Blossom special and blew us all away!!! Wow! Mr. Luke played guitar.
BOOK CONCERTS The new concert hall has been filled with Maxens book 4 concert, Micaela Bonas book 1 concert and Timo’s book 2 concert. Congratulations to you all! coming up we have Indis book 4 and Maia Langilles book 3 concert and then three weekends of Suzuki recitals…. Don’t miss them!
