Scotia Suzuki School Events
Our Story:
The Scotia Suzuki School of Music provides opportunities for its students to play in groups, ensembles, and orchestras including over 200 players and duets. Concerts are open to all.
At SSSM we also have big productions and concerts with special guests. Students at SSSM learn to work together to put on big projects including over 100 players. This type of production teaches children to work hard to do their part to contribute to something big and amazing. Realizing that you can be part of something bigger by everyone being dependable at doing their part is a powerful life lesson for children to learn.
We invite special guests to perform with our students to broaden their horizons in their music as well.
We have regular free concerts at the school that all are invited and welcome to attend. You can email the school scotiasuzukischool@gmail.com for your special invitation

Irish Music Celebration Concert & Session
May 10th, 2025 | Shows at 2:00 PM & 6:00 PM
Join us for a celebration of Irish music featuring performances by Scotia Suzuki School of Music students, the Nova Scotia Youth Ambassadors, and special guests Delhaven and Diaga Irish Dancers!
Each concert will be followed by an authentic Irish music session where community musicians and students come together to share tunes in the traditional way. Bring the whole family for an afternoon or evening of music, dance, and community connection.
Bring $5 for a voucher to get your Irish-themed food / drink voucher at our canteen.
Important: Before purchasing tickets, please confirm FIRST which concert (2:00 PM or 6:00 PM) your student musician is performing in to make sure you attend the right show.
