This is piano accompaniment. You'll learn to hear chord progressions, play from chord symbols and lead sheets, and pick things up by ear — so you can back yourself up, or back someone else. By halfway through the term a fiddler drops in, and the class accompanies them through a few tunes. That moment — when you're the one holding the song up — is when it clicks. Evan Milligan teaches it. No reading music required. Bring nothing. Pianos are here for you. With three or more, the class runs the full 45 minutes. With two, it runs 30 minutes — a smaller room, closer to a semi-private, with far more individual attention per person.
