Service Description
This is piano accompaniment. You'll learn to hear chord progressions, play from chord symbols and lead sheets, and pick things up by ear — so you can back yourself up, or back someone else. By halfway through the term a fiddler drops in, and the class accompanies them through a few tunes. That moment — when you're the one holding the song up — is when it clicks. Evan Milligan teaches it. No reading music required. Bring nothing. Pianos are here for you. Tuesdays 7:15–8:00 PM · Sep 15 to Dec 1 With Evan Milligan · Room 6 12 weekly sessions · $154 · around $12.83 a class A note on class length Class length depends on how many people register. With three or more, the class runs the full 45 minutes. With two, it runs 30 minutes — a smaller room, closer to a semi-private, with far more individual attention per person. We'll email you the week before the term begins to confirm which it is, so you'll know before the first class. Already play a bit? Intermediate Piano Chording runs Tuesdays at 8PM.
