Are you working towards a book concert? Want to make learning or reviewing the next six songs more fun?

In the Practicing Pro Academy, we learn how important doing 6 review songs is a day.

Here are some ideas for how you can use these fun monster masks to be successful with song review to make them performance ready and bump your playing to the NEXT level. As parents and teachers, we have all experienced time and time again our children improve the MOST in the few weeks or months before a big event or concert while they review and upgrade a piece they already know as opposed to learning new things. This is the magic space!

With these FUN monster masks, you can ~

Earn them one song at a time:

Here are some ideas for how you can use your monster masks:

  1. Earn them one song at a time:

Work on your song until it’s “performance ready.” Once it’s ready, make your first monster mask. Video yourself playing the song in your mask or take a photo. Do all six masks, and you will have a whole concert of 6 recordings.

  1. Six songs at once:

Learn and review/upgrade six songs at a performance level. Do a final concert changing your masks for each piece. Choose the mask that you think best suits each song.

  1. Creative stories:

Create a story for each monster mask based on one of your songs.

  1. Draw pictures of the stories and the monsters that go with each song.

You can even make a program with drawings from each of the stories.
