NOTE: Your child doesn't need a violin for their first lesson! We'll have everything ready when they're prepared to take their instrument home. So you have time 🙂
​WHAT MAKES OUR RENTAL PROGRAM SO SPECIAL?

Every rental payment/donation helps another child discover music.

When you rent through Scotia Suzuki Supply Shop, your monthly contribution goes directly to our scholarship program. While your child builds confidence and develops performance skills with their quality instrument, you're helping other families experience the same musical joy who might not otherwise be able to.
​AVAILABLE VIOLIN SIZES:
​

1/8 size / 1/16 size and 1/32 size are currently not available (you will need to go to Long and McQuade)
​

1/4 size - (A child typically between the ages of 6 and 9 years old, but this is a general guideline and depends on the child's arm length. It needs to be at least 18 inches, from their neck down their arm to the center of their palm to see if they are big enough before coming in to be sized)

1/2 size - Growing intermediate students

3/4 size - Advancing young musicians
​

Full size - Teen and adult students
​​
Ages 3-6: You won't need a violin rental for the first while as your child develops foundational skills

Long & McQuade Music (Cunard Street) also offers violin rentals at approximately $25/month plus tax. You can park in our lot and walk right over—couldn't be more convenient!
