SCHOOL OPENING - Tuesday, January 4th for in-person private lessons

Updated: Jan 24, 2022

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a restful holiday.

Under the current government regulations, our school will be opening for regular in-person private lessons on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022.

Please note that this new opening date is a Tuesday. (NOT the day before, as originally planned)

Group classes will be held on Zoom on Saturday, January 8th.

As per usual, the Zoom links for group classes can be found under the RED buttons for each discipline on the student portal page of our school website. You can find a quick link to the student portal page below. Zoom links will be updated before the morning of each group class.

We'll keep you informed of any changes impacting our school as the government releases new updates on COVID regulations.

Contact Christy, the director, directly if you need to request online lessons. These are reserved only for those required to undergo COVID-related isolation.

As in the past, all students above the age of 12, as well as parents and teachers, must be fully vaccinated to enter the building. A three layer or medical mask is required at all times in our school and please do not come to your lessons if you or your child are experiencing COVID symptoms.

If you have any questions about the details of our COVID regulations, you can go to our school's policy page, which is linked below.

Santa’s Beard Practice Activity

I hope that everyone has been able to slow down and enjoy family, walks, good food and some of your other favourite holiday activities over the last week.

The holidays can sabotage our diets and also our daily practicing. If you haven't already been filling up your Santa’s beard activity, it's not too late! Fill in one circle for each time you practice, play a review song, listen to your Suzuki CD or play 5 scales, for example. Once your Santa's beard is full, take a photo of you with it, send it to me, and I’ll make you an award and hang it on the hard working wall at our school!!! I can’t wait to see all of your hard working Santa’s beards! Click the link below for the printable activity in case you didn't get one from your teacher, you misplaced it or you want to do it again!
