IMAGINE YOUR CHILD'S WEEK
Picture your child's morning starting with the excitement of trying piano for the first time, then picking up a violin with a patient, encouraging teacher right by their side. After a hands-on art project where they create something they're proud of, they head outside to run, play, and cool off with water games on a hot July day. By pick-up time, they're buzzing with stories about what they learned, the song they played, the painting they made, and the new friends they can't wait to see tomorrow. This is what a week at Music Discovery Camp feels like.

PARENTS CAN CHOOSE
Full Day Camp (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM) — $297/week
Everything in the Morning Program PLUS outdoor adventures, park activities, water games, and expanded creative arts projects. A perfect balance of musical growth and active, joyful play in a safe, nurturing environment.
Morning Program (9:00 AM – 12:15 PM) — $197/week
Your child receives individual attention in small classes while exploring beginner-friendly piano, violin, singing instruction, plus engaging arts and crafts. Perfect for younger children or families who prefer a half-day experience.
What Your Child's Day Looks Like
Here's a peek at a typical day at Music Discovery Camp:
☀️FREE Early Drop-Off (8:00 – 9:00 AM) Supervised free play, board games, and creative projects — a relaxed start for early arrivals.
🎵Music Exploration: Session 1 (9:00 – 9:45 AM) Your child's first hands-on music class of the day — they'll rotate through piano, violin, and singing throughout the week, discovering which instruments light them up.
🎨 Art & Craft Time (9:45 – 10:30 AM) Painting, drawing, and hands-on creative projects — a chance to express themselves in a totally different way.
🍎Snack Break (10:30 – 10:45 AM) Time to refuel and chat with new friends.
More Than Music — A Full Summer Day
Your child's day isn't all sitting in a chair! Between music classes, our full-day campers head outside for park adventures, active group games, water play on hot days, and the kind of free-range fun that makes summer unforgettable. They'll come home tired, happy, and buzzing with stories about what they learned AND the new friends they made.
Our camp balances focused musical learning with the outdoor play, creative exploration, and social time that every child needs during the summer. It's the best of both worlds — real skill-building in a real summer camp environment.
🎵Music Exploration: Session 2 (10:45 – 11:30 AM) Back to music! A different instrument or a deeper dive into a favourite from the morning.
🎵Music Exploration: Session 3 (11:30 AM – 12:15 PM) One more chance to play, sing, and create before the lunch break.
🥪Lunch & Free Time (12:15 – 1:00 PM) Packed lunch (nut-free, please!) with time to relax, play, and socialize.
⬆️Morning program campers are picked up at 12:15 PM
🌳Outdoor Adventures (1:00 – 3:00 PM) This is where summer really kicks in! Park games, group activities, water play on hot days, and plenty of time to run, laugh, and burn off energy with new friends.
🍎Afternoon Snack (3:00 – 3:15 PM) A quick recharge before the last stretch of the day.
📚Wind-Down Time (3:15 – 4:00 PM) Quiet crafts, reading time, and gentle creative activities — the perfect way to transition before pick-up. Your child heads home calm, happy, and full of stories.
☀️FREE Late Pick-Up (4:00 – 5:00 PM) Board games, quiet play, and supervised hang-out time for families who need a little extra flexibility. No extra charge!
WHAT TO BRING:

— Sunscreen applied before arrival

REGISTRATION & PRICING
Full Day Camp: $297/week
Morning Only: $197/week
Cancellation policy: Cancellation requests must be received a minimum of 30 days prior to the start of camp, to qualify for a 50% refund of camp fees. A full refund can only be processed if cancellation requests are received within 7 days after your registration. An administration fee of $25 will apply to ALL cancellations.

FREE Extended Care for Halifax Families — Included With Every Registration!
We get it — summer schedules are complicated enough without worrying about being at the door at exactly 9:00 AM or rushing through Halifax traffic to make pick-up by 4:00. We never want a family to feel stressed about timing, and we never want to nickel-and-dime you with extra fees just because your workday doesn't perfectly match camp hours.
That's why every camp registration includes free extended care — no extra charge, no extra paperwork, no stress.
Early Drop-Off (8:00 – 9:00 AM): Your child starts the day with supervised free play, board games, and creative projects — a relaxed, fun way to ease into the morning.
Late Pick-Up (4:00 – 5:00 PM): After the main camp program ends, your child enjoys quiet crafts, reading time, games, and outdoor play until you arrive.
